Our Captain Litos will welcome you on board the Amanecer with his staff at Puerto Abrigo or the hotel where you are staying if it has docking facilities.
Born and raised in Cozumel, he has been part of a boat crew since he was 13 years old.
He received his Captain certification for Cozumel in 1990, then kept on taking courses and received his certification for open sea transversal in Florida. A few years after that he finished his certification for Patrón de Costa. Only 20 captains on the island have achieved this certification.
He has done 20 transversals trips from or to Cozumel, Fort-Lauderdale, Panama, Guatemala, Belize, St-Thomas, Bahamas, West Palm Beach, Pompano Beach, Key West and Cuba.
He was the captain of the Amanecer when it was brought to Cozumel from Fort-Lauderdale.
